CBC Comedy fest - 8th wonder of the world

So we went to this CBC comedy festival the other day. Tickets were free! compliments of the College. I asked nicely some people, for them to come with me. but, mainly i got responses like "well, we're not really friends, don't know you that well" option 2: no call back at all. and, and~ one guy was sick otherwise he would've been fun to take. or some other girl was writing and or studying for her exams.

I took this guy to the thing. didn't know he was crazy till that night. what a mistake. all through the thing he was making these stupid obnoxious noises - drawing attention to himself because he wanted to be on camera. He'd be like "BOOYA!" he's not black, or cool. wtf,

the performers were stunned on some occasions trying to make sense of it all. and had to do a retake for those parts when intermission was going on.

he got some stares from the people in front sitting quietly, but more noticably, the usher, who gave us a face like, "when i come talk to you, don't give me any crazy bullshit. I'm used to dealing with crazies, I'm used to dealing with shits, all that's gonna happen is that you're gonna make alot of noise when you're going out."

so this went on and on. i sat shocked everytime he threw something or yelled like he had a mental problem. avery time he'd make a stupid antic i'd be like holy shit. what would jesus do?

I tried hard to ignore it even when people next to him actually asked why are you shouting? his reponse? ...clean, crisp, LOUD!.. so i didn't want to take control of this and just tell him to stop but got to feeling pretty complacent about it. wondering if this was all right? in the long run, maybe this is ok behaviour for someone at a comedy fest. then "BOOYA! HAHAHAHA! YEA!" omg...

We ended up leaving early and as i called home during intermission for guidance about what to make of it. I got my excuse together taht I had to be at work early tomorrow and walked out. Some of the staff said "good work" to me I can't believe i missed a whole half a show for the benefit of other people. But I didn't want to be on TV with this guy either. I feel i've just gone to the bathroom and flushed when it comes to this guy.

anyhow sorry for all the language.

here is a joke from the show:

so the guy on stage is a comedian and~ gay. He is telling us how he first told his parents about it. His dad is some army general or something

"i needed a quiet way to tell them, so i did it at dinner, on thanksgiving. in the middle i said to my mom, please pass the gravy to a homosexual... she past it to dad. there was quite a scene after taht..." ba hahah i wish i could tell you more but some jack ass made it impossible for that.

damn him.
