From what i understand sites such as the one listed below will have actual programs for you to join (no cost from cj.com) and you can soon start building a site to drive traffic to the merchant's site (a merchant that has accepted your application) and that's all i know about this process

if you're worried they won't accept foreign applicants, you should be assured that they do, especially google and cj, i just signed up for google and haven't gotten a response yet because they take usually a day it sez. as well it's the weekend.

so did you know.. that when you have a blog, and say you were writing about cosmetics, if you had adsense on (just sign up for an account) then you will get ads on your site for make up products, this is google, this is adsense, this is a possible way to make some money (when people click on the ads.)

another great idea as i've shared with some business owners with a product, is to become a merchant, and have people become affiliate marketers for you. advertise for you. why? is this great? well this kind of advertising is pay only when it works, nothing is paid when it fails.

at any rate, i guess you'd just have to sign up with one of these, i'd go with google cuz it will eventually take over the world. (and be partners with China) but it's great for both publisher and advertiser.

em, since i don't know anything about it really and haven't set up a real site yet (I have the goal to set one up tomorrow) and just well hope that people will use it.. but i'm trying really hard to get into the program with a Canadian inkjet company which ships online, because my target group is Canadian. Well wish me luck, and pray form me that they accept my application, because if not i'll have done alot of graphic work for nothing.. like as if i was using illustrator for fun, and not profit. time.

Internet Marketing

This entry is about Internet Marketing. Where it is going on, and what it might become in the future. Right now, there is a way to market in the internet which is a legitimate at home business. It is called affiliate marketing.

The way that Aff.M works is this: say there is a company who has this program going on. If you were a webpage designer, like me, you could make your own webpage which showcases the company's products. with a click on the link on your page it will bring the user to the big company's webpage. With every purchase of that product, the master company will pay you a commission, beacause it is able to tell that the person who bought something came to their site, from yours.

Why this is an effective form of advertising, think about it they only pay the people for when something is sold.

So having most of my advertising for my webpage business on free online sites such as Kijiji is great for the price, and yes there has been some inquiries, but Aff.M is all about making money selling other people's products, products you don't have to buy and stockhold. But often i find some people come to my site without entering any information, why? My main concern is that from my reports on Kijiji that around 20 people a day are searching for this service, however only 10% come to my webpage.

The next step for a site like kijiji, is to harvest the e-mails of all the people who search for "web design services" on their site and sell this list to the people who are interested. This would make the list that is perfect for .. you guessed it cold calling.

With the discovery of the internet, it will be as big if not bigger than TV, or Radio, or books. I find all sorts of things good about the Internet, such as it takes me 10 days to finish an online class where if I took it in class it would take 10 weeks. Before Internet, we would have to go to the library to find out about something.. now?
